Fashion, not style, it is a statement. Fashion does not have to be worn casually, nor outside the runway. Fashion is for people of all shapes and sizes, regardless of ethnicity, gender, or religious values. Fashion is suitable for people of all sizes and ages. Fashion is a form of personal expression, not a justification for being attractive, popular, or charismatic.
Throughout the years fashion trends have been changing constantly, although we still look at past fashion creations and take inspiration from it, adapting them to our wardrobe. The old is gradually replaced by the new. Athletes, musicians, movie stars, and social media are all impacted by popular culture. They're also interested in what individuals wear in popular movies, TV series, online videos, books, and music. The fashion industry's advertising also has an impact on us.
By the constantly changing trends independent fashion brands are unable to create their clothes sustainably, therefore people turn to fast fashion because of its affordability and fastness to keep up with the constant change. Unfortunately this comes with numerous consequences that involve our planet slowly running out of natural resources. Slow fashion production is a lengthy process, because of the few workers that can design, look for materials, sew all of the clothing and much more that comes as a disadvantage of being a small fashion business owner. The question is: What can we do to keep up with the trends, while still avoiding buying fast fashion? The answer isn't as simple because there are not many choices, although the possibilities are:
Buying from a second hand store, as a lot of past trends are coming back it is easier to find trendy pieces of clothing, therefore giving them a second life,
Upcycling your old clothes, probably your grandmother or someone you know owns a sewing machine, which can help in remodeling your clothes according to your liking,
Skip the trends and dress how YOU like, therefore expressing yourself through creativity. Fashion has no limits, and is a mix of all areas of knowledge.
As stated before fashion trends from the past have been becoming more popular, people turning to 80s,90s, and y2k fashion trends. Although people tend to use basics and pair them with some unique accessories. making their outfit become original and unique. The fashion industry is starting to get obsessed with the past, which is not anything new or surprising. As stated by Heather Newberger "Fashion tends to work in 30-year cycles," many of the most popular trends of the '90s were simply reinterpreted versions of trends from the '60s and '70s. What has been noticeable is as the pace of life accelerates, trends shift more quickly and reappear 20 years later.

Princess Diana was and still is an inspiration not only for her actions, but also for her sense of style. The princess wears bike shorts, and sneakers, which have all recently become coming back trends. The tote that Diana is wearing in the photo was brought back by Gucci and is now known as the "Diana Bag" as a result of Diana's enormous fashion influence. The House originally produced a bamboo handle tote in 1991, which was symbolic of the time period. The bag has been reinvented by Alessandro Michele, in keeping with Gucci's concept of growth and reinvention.
As a result of growing up with athleisure, girls are now more obsessed with her informal, unstudied looks. In her most recent Vogue picture, Hailey Bieber replicated some of Diana's most casual paparazzi outfits. The princess enjoyed taking fashion risks and understood the power of clothing better than many others at the time. She was most herself in "normal clothing," and we're still charmed by her ability to put together an outfit from just a pair of biking shorts and a hoodie.
If we look closely, we can see that her impact has never disappeared, as evidenced by the most recent street style looks. It's partly because, aside from the allure of Diana's particular style, fashion is still enamored of the '80s and '90s vibes. This is motivated by the simplicity and approachability of the seemingly effortless look, which allows Diana to present herself as a "regular person" but rather show us the real side of herself, inspiring people with her street style looks. She was clearly constructing a wardrobe during the later years of her life that no longer concealed who she was on the inside, but rather a collection that was edited, elegant, and forward-thinking, hinting at a sense of freedom and a chance at happiness
