What is Slow Fashion?
Slow fashion was created in response to fast fashion in order to decrease the negative effects of the clothing industry on the environment and future. It prioritizes quality above quantity, allowing it to endure five times as long as a fast fashion item. The "slow movement" promotes production that is considerate of people, the environment, and ethical manufacturing. Slow fashion is comprehensive in nature, taking into account the entire product lifecycle. It is concerned with long-term sustainability and does not regard products as disposable.
